Top Kitchen design trends need to be evaluated when begin to research for home renovations. Renovating a kitchen or bathroom in your home is the best way to add more value to your home but having the correct design will make all the difference.
As the economy stabilizes and consumers are more willing to reinvest in their properties, the main question that arises is "Where will I get my biggest bang for my buck!" The bathroom is where most people begin and end their day. You want this to be a place of comfort and warmth in your home, especially your master bathroom. This is a worthwhile investment in your home, as well as your kitchen. The kitchen is where you cook, meet with family and friends and ultimately spend most of the evening. So, we searched for you, and found the kitchen design trends that are topping the charts.
According to Zillow Digs Home Design Trend Report the top kitchen trends for 2014 are as follows:
Black Counter Tops Really?!?!
The solid black counter top tends to be to bold, but if it is paired appropriately with other counter tops, paint and cabinet finishes, it can bring real elegance into the space.
Open Shelves and Glass-front cabinets
These have to be used in moderation and placed strategically in the kitchen to display only what will look good and be presentable at all times.
Darker Paint Tones
The darker colors should be masked with a brighter color that will add to the rooms depth. For example, if using black deep color paint maybe a white or antique island base or white hutch would really release brightness and a vibrance into the room.
These newer modern looks are adding sophistication into the homes and a dramatic look that will be hard to miss. Harrisburg Kitchen and Bath are currently displaying some of these combinations to showcase these trends in our renovated showrooms.

The workers are quick and efficient. They got the work done earlier than expected and did a good job cleaning up the work site afterwards. I am quite pleased with the end result.
